Job Objective: Supervise, coordinate, and control construction execution, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, budget, and construction schedule, guaranteeing quality, safety, and adherence to established timelines. Functions and Responsibilities: Planning and Control • Monitor compliance with the construction schedule. • Coordinate daily execution activities. • Track physical progress and report it promptly. • Identify deviations and propose corrective actions. Technical Supervision: • Verify that construction is executed in accordance with drawings, descriptive reports, and specifications. • Supervise structural, masonry, finishing, and installation works. • Validate construction procedures. Quality Control: • Ensure that work complies with quality standards. • Supervise material and installation testing. • Maintain photographic and documentary records of progress. Administrative Control: • Maintain an updated construction logbook. • Review and validate contractors’ estimates. • Monitor material usage and consumption. • Support change orders and scope adjustments. Safety and Regulatory Compliance: • Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. • Verify use of personal protective equipment. • Report identified incidents and risks. • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Job Requirements. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience: • Minimum 1 year as site resident or in a similar role. • Experience in civil works. Technical Knowledge: • Ability to read and interpret drawings. • Construction processes. • Basic construction and safety regulations. • Construction control and estimation.
