Opportunity to contribute to project profitability GRUPO BARI We seek your talent as: A construction-sector company is looking for a Procurement Officer with proven experience in managing and procuring materials, equipment, and services. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely supply under optimal cost, quality, and schedule conditions, complying with internal policies and contributing to project profitability. Main Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement processes for materials, supplies, and services. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial terms. Develop, evaluate, and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers. Monitor budgets assigned to the procurement department. Review and validate purchase orders and supplier contracts. Track deliveries and compliance with agreed terms. Monitor the market to identify trends, costs, and new supply alternatives. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Process material requisitions from each department. Request product quotations from multiple suppliers. Prepare purchase orders. Establish credit lines with new suppliers. Participate in the Integrated Management System (IMS) and related audits. Coordinate with the Accounts Payable department to process payments under agreed terms. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Degree certificate required. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the construction industry. Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, machinery, and related services. Skills in negotiation, supplier management, and budget control. Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with computer tools.
