At **Agua Nueva**, a leading company in our industry, we are seeking a highly qualified **Logistics and Customs Coordinator** to supervise and optimize our domestic and international transportation operations.
Your primary objective will be to coordinate land (trucks and trains) and maritime freight, ensuring that products are delivered efficiently from our distribution center to the end customer while strictly complying with customs procedures and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Planning and Coordination:** Organize cargo transportation by road, rail, and sea; establish efficient routes and ensure on-time delivery.
* **Customs Management:** Coordinate cargo clearance (imports/exports), manage complete documentation, and serve as the primary contact with customs authorities and agencies.
* **Legal Compliance:** Stay up to date with customs legislation, safety and health regulations, and the implementation of international treaties or trade agreements.
* **Supplier Relations:** Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with transportation carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
* **Last-Mile Delivery:** Manage and optimize the distribution chain to the end customer, ensuring delivery accuracy and punctuality.
* **Analysis and Risk Management:** Monitor shipment progress, resolve incidents, mitigate customs-related risks, and prepare logistics performance reports for management.
**Profile Requirements:**
* **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in logistics, freight management (land/maritime), customs clearance, and international regulations.
* **Languages:** Advanced English.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics management software, and tools for tracking and documenting foreign trade.
