Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to configure networks and systems and provide technical support, following the guidelines set by the Infrastructure Coordinator. Key Responsibilities: 1. Network and systems infrastructure configuration and support 2. Proficiency with open-source software tools in Linux environments 3. Technical support for VPN, Wi-Fi networks, telephony, and access control We are looking for talent with experience as: Junior Infrastructure Engineer General Information: Work Location: Colonia Juárez, Cuauhtémoc Borough, CDMX. Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract Work Modality: On-site Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Salary: $10,500 net Minimum 1 year of experience in: Fundamental knowledge of networks and systems Network configuration (VLANs, subnetting) on managed switches, access points, and firewalls. Understanding of the OSI model Structured cabling tasks. Basic installation and configuration of open-source software tools such as web servers or databases in Linux environments. Basic knowledge of CCTV, VoIP, and access control systems. Responsibilities: Configure internal and client switches and firewalls according to procedures previously established by the Infrastructure Coordinator. Install and configure Linux and Windows systems for company employees. Provide technical support services for user onboarding/offboarding and troubleshooting across our VPN, Wi-Fi networks, telephone system, access control, CCTV, internet links, and certain internal portals. Perform and test periodic backups of our systems and internal portals.
