Collaboration in Cloud Native environments, primarily on AWS DESCRIPTION We are seeking a **Data Engineer** with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions within modern environments, focused on building efficient pipelines and scalable architectures. **Work Location: Southern part of Xochimilco City. Hybrid: 2–3 days per week onsite** ### **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain **data ingestion, transformation, and modeling** processes. * Implement data models under the **Bronze, Silver, and Gold** architecture. * Design and optimize **SQL queries** and database structures (logical and physical). * Build and maintain **data pipelines** and **orchestration** workflows. * Participate in solutions based on **Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse**. * Work with **containers using Docker** (local environments and deployments). * Collaborate in **Cloud Native** environments, primarily on **AWS**. * Implement best practices for **version control (GitHub)** and **CI/CD**. * Participate in projects managed with **Azure DevOps**. * Work under agile methodologies such as **Scrum or Kanban**. REQUIREMENTS **Requirements** ------------------ ### **Essential Technical Skills** * Experience with Python or Scala. * Proficiency in SQL (queries, optimization, logical and physical modeling). * Knowledge of layered data modeling (Bronze, Silver, Gold). * Understanding of architectures: * Data Lake * Data Warehouse * Lakehouse * Basic experience in data orchestration (pipelines). * Familiarity with Cloud Native environments. * Use of Docker (local containers). * Basic knowledge of AWS. * Proficiency in GitHub for version control. * Knowledge of CI/CD practices. ### **Methodologies and Tools** * Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards preferred). * Experience working under agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. ### **Desirable** * Experience with tools such as Airflow or Databricks. * Knowledge of pipeline optimization. * Experience in analytics or data governance projects.
