Fundación de Ayuda al Débil Mental A.C. is a non-profit organization that serves people with disabilities and is seeking a kitchen assistant for its center or group home’s food service, according to the following profile: Objective: Carry out cooking and cleaning activities in the beneficiaries’ dining area as needed, to ensure optimal food preparation with a team of cooks. Functions: 1\.\- Assist in preparing meals for beneficiaries, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. 2\.\- Perform food prepping tasks. 3\.\- Clean kitchen and dining areas, and wash utensils used by beneficiaries, such as plates, glasses, spoons, etc. 4\.\- Organize, classify, and securely store all food donations and/or pantry supplies for proper use. 5\. Receive training from the nutrition department to comply with all health standards regarding food receipt, preparation, and storage. Required Skills: * Teamwork (with other cooks) * Ability to follow instructions * Sense of urgency * Sense of order and cleanliness Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, six working days per week and one day off Salary: $9,610 MXN per month plus statutory benefits Pleasant work environment and training opportunities.
