Position Summary: We are seeking a Backend Developer for the maintenance, support, and evolution of legacy applications, working with C, C++, Java, and Spring. Key Highlights: 1. JOIN OUR TEAM!! Backend Developer (Legacy Systems) · Location: CDMX, Miguel Hidalgo Borough. Modality: Hybrid (on-site 2–3 times per week). Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. Advanced English proficiency. Minimum 3 years of software development experience using C, C, or C++, plus experience with Java. Experience in maintenance, support, and evolution of legacy applications. Knowledge of application migration and modernization toward Java- and Spring-based architectures. Experience in microservices and REST API development and integration. Knowledge of consuming and integrating REST and SOAP services. Proficiency with relational databases, especially SQL Server. Basic/intermediate Angular knowledge for frontend maintenance or integration. Experience in bug fixing, functional enhancements, and optimization of existing applications. Knowledge of unit testing and sound software development practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and participate in ongoing maintenance and development tasks.
