Key Responsibilities: \* Fiscal Strategy: Design and implement fiscal strategies aligned with business objectives to optimize the tax burden. \* Timely Compliance: Supervise and ensure correct and timely fulfillment of all federal and state tax obligations (provisional payments, annual returns, DIOT, etc.). \* Defense and Audits: Serve as the primary contact and lead in handling audits, requests, and reviews conducted by the SAT, PRODECON, and local authorities. \* General Accounting: Oversee accounting records to ensure financial and fiscal information is accurate and complies with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and current legislation. \* Internal Consulting: Advise other company departments on the fiscal impact of new operations, projects, or business lines. \* Continuous Updates: Proactively monitor tax reforms and miscellaneous regulations to anticipate impacts and adjust strategy accordingly. Requirements and Knowledge (Essential): This is a breakdown of what you must know and have done: \* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (licensed and/or registered with a professional association). A graduate degree or diploma in Taxation is desirable but not mandatory. \* Experience: More than 10 years of verifiable experience in similar positions (Fiscal Manager, Fiscal Director, Senior Fiscal Accountant). \* Solid Technical Knowledge: \* In-depth mastery of the Federal Fiscal Code (CFF), Income Tax Law (Ley del ISR), and Value Added Tax Law (Ley del IVA). \* Extensive experience in Electronic Accounting (chart of accounts, trial balances) and CFDI 4.0. \* Advanced proficiency in Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF). \* Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and related-party transactions (desirable). \* Practical Experience: \* Direct and verifiable experience managing SAT audits (desk reviews, on-site visits) and resolving official requests. \* Proficiency with SAT platforms and portals. \* Experience using an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, CONTPAQi, etc.) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
