




A major sugar packaging company is seeking a FOOD QUALITY INSPECTOR to work in Cuautitlán Izcalli. JOB OBJECTIVE: Monitor and verify operational standards; ensure compliance with specifications for raw materials, in-process products, and finished products; and verify adherence to the company’s established quality and food safety guidelines, in accordance with applicable regulations. REQUIREMENTS: * At least a Food Engineering intern or related field * Minimum 1 year of experience in quality and/or production areas * Basic knowledge of quality and food safety management systems * Observant, with strong attention to detail * Logical and methodical approach to performing tasks * Residence near Cuautitlán Izcalli area * Availability for shift work and flexible scheduling COMPETENCIES: * Responsibility * Organization * Attention to detail * Teamwork KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform activities ensuring achievement of performance indicators within the assigned area of responsibility. * Participate in and support incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of control measures. * Understand food safety hazards associated with CCPs and/or PRPs, and the consequences of deviations. * Verify and monitor the quality of in-process and finished products in accordance with technical specifications defined by the organization. * Verify and monitor the finished product packaging and labeling process in accordance with technical, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. * Support and follow up on internal and external audit activities. * Halt production line upon detection of non-conforming product, with prior authorization. * Authorize release of intermediate and finished products. * Establish, implement, and monitor compliance with the HACCP program. * Ensure implementation of processes within the assigned control scope. * Participate in and support emergency response procedures. * Conduct incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of control measures. * Identify and communicate quality–service and food safety risks that currently affect or may impact assigned activities.
