Description
The Warehouse Manager at Valog is responsible for organizing, controlling, and optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient product and material flow within the company.
**Inventory Management:**
* Track and record product inflows and outflows.
* Ensure appropriate stock levels to prevent overstocking.
* Conduct periodic physical inventories (daily initially) to guarantee inventory accuracy.
**Space Optimization:**
* Design and organize warehouse space to maximize available area utilization.
* Implement product location systems to facilitate quick and safe access to stored items.
* Ensure work and cleaning tools are placed in designated locations.
**Personnel Supervision:**
* Ensure staff comply with dress code and PPE usage protocols.
* Lead and coordinate the warehouse team, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to procedures.
* Train personnel on safety, equipment handling, and internal procedures (BPAs, 5S, etc.).
**Coordination with Other Departments:**
* Collaborate with Traffic, Planning, Customer Service, and Management to ensure smooth operational flow.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Participate in load planning and SOP development, focusing on organizing loading and receiving activities.
· Daily pallet position reporting.
· Daily inventory verification.
· Coordinate with Customer Service regarding shipment of defective materials, rejections, pallets, and return to origin customer.
· Coordinate goods receipt and dispatch.
· Supervise warehouse staff (warehouse assistants, forklift operators, and shift supervisors).
· Assign packing lists (picking and loading tasks) to the warehouse team.
· Review safety procedures and compliance with regulations.
· Weekly closing reports to management on inventory status and warehouse operations.
· Optimize logistics processes to improve response times and reduce operating costs.
· Weekly incident reports for the warehouse team.
· Monthly KPI reports to Operations Management.
· Ensure proper functioning of work tools (forklifts, ramps and docks, push-pull devices, pallet jacks, and general tools).
· Ensure warehouse layout is clearly demarcated and visible (defective goods area, picking area, picking buffers, and sanitary zone).
Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract
Salary: $18,000.00 - $21,000.00 per month
