Assembly, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic cranes. Mounting cranes onto cargo trucks. Diagnosis of hydraulic and mechanical failures. Experience with: Hydraulic pumps, valves, pistons, hoses, and fittings. Mobile hydraulic systems. Desirable experience in: High-tonnage equipment. Industrial hydraulic components. Technical Knowledge Interpretation of hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Operation and adjustment of: Hydraulic pumps. Directional, relief, and control valves. Hydraulic cylinders. General mechanics: Diesel engines (basic to intermediate). Transmissions and auxiliary systems. Proper use of: Hand and power tools. Hydraulic pressure measurement equipment.
