DESCRIPTION **GP Construction**, we are the leader in large-scale infrastructure and industrial project construction. We are seeking an **Earthworks Resident** to join our team. If you have proven experience in the sector and are looking to join a solid, continuously growing company, this opportunity is for you! ‍‍ **Required Experience:** 4 years in earthworks **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and manage all earthworks-related activities in infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on highways or bypass works. * Ensure compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards at every project stage. * Plan and coordinate the proper execution of earthmoving operations, ensuring optimal use of resources and timeframes. * Supervise the appropriate use and maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment employed in earthworks activities. * Manage the correct application and compaction of embankment materials, ensuring structural stability and durability. * Ensure accurate topographic surveying and its integration into project development. * Supervise and control assigned personnel, fostering a safe and productive work environment. * Prepare periodic progress reports, incident reports, and site logs. * Identify and propose solutions to technical challenges arising during work execution. * Ensure continuous compliance with industrial safety standards. **What Are We Looking For in You?** * **Solid Experience:** In managing and executing earthworks projects, preferably in highways, bypasses, or similar infrastructure projects. * **Technical Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of earthmoving processes, compaction, slope control, and embankment design. * **Surveying:** Experience interpreting and applying topographic drawings, as well as using surveying equipment for site control. * **Materials:** Knowledge of various embankment materials, their properties, and quality control methods. * **Leadership:** Proven ability to lead and motivate work teams. * **Project Management:** Ability to plan, organize, and control resources (human, material, and machinery) to achieve project objectives. * **Problem Solving:** Aptitude for identifying issues and proposing effective, efficient solutions. * **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * **Commitment:** Strong sense of responsibility, proactivity, and results orientation. * **Safety:** Knowledge of and adherence to on-site safety regulations. REQUIREMENTS * Civil Engineer, Architect, or related degree (degree certificate & professional license) * Verifiable experience in highway or bypass projects
