Position Summary: The MASS Coordinator ensures that projects comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations to prevent injuries and damage to facilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensures compliance with safety regulations in projects. 2. Supervises and trains personnel on safety procedures. 3. Identifies hazards and establishes control measures in the workplace. **We are looking for your talent!** **Fava Soldadores S.A. de C.V.** **MASS Coordinator** **Position Purpose:** To ensure that all projects under development comply with all requirements, protocols, Mexican Official Standards (NOMs), as well as our company’s and our clients’ internal standards, regulations, and procedures, in order to prevent personnel injuries and facility damage during project execution. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree, or Higher Technical Diploma in occupational safety and hygiene, industrial engineering, or related field. * Experience in the industrial sector (Metal-Mechanical). * Submission of documentation certifying completion and passing of training on Mexican Official Standards (NOM-019-STPS and NOM-030-STPS) through the STPS PROCADIST platform. * Successful completion of the contractor personnel safety induction course. * Passing of the technical safety evaluation administered by GSH’s Contractor Safety Department, with a minimum passing score of 80. * Valid certification of competencies per NOM-002-STPS. **Key Duties:** * Identify hazards associated with personnel activities and establish corresponding control measures. * Supervise the use of basic and specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work centers and areas; maintain order and hygiene in the workplace. * Supervise construction sites during working hours to assess hazards and risks within plant facilities where services are being rendered. * Issue required permits to commence work at client-requested plants. * Prepare and deliver safety, health, environmental, and job-specific documentation requested by the client. * Advise, train personnel on safety procedures, and supervise their implementation. * Conduct on-site Task Safety Analysis (TSA) prior to commencing work. * Audit compliance with controls established in the Task Safety Analysis (TSA). * Prepare annual safety files for client evaluations. * Implement or modify internal work procedures to improve safety performance. * Conduct risk assessments based on STPS regulations (as applicable). * Develop specific safety programs in accordance with applicable regulations. * Comply with STPS training studies and programs. * Train personnel on safety matters. * Ensure correct use of tools during work execution.
