At beonit we collaborate with a company in the construction and highway management sector that is looking to hire a **Maintenance Assistant** to support the maintenance of highway infrastructure. The role combines operational field tasks, physically demanding outdoor work, and coordination with the team to ensure quality and safety on the road. **What will your mission be?** Perform maintenance of highway infrastructure according to established timeframes and volumes, ensuring work quality and user safety. **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:** * Performing gardening tasks, painting lane lines, and weed removal. * Replacing and maintaining highway signage. * Carrying out basic maintenance work in offices: painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and welding. * Following safety protocols to prevent accidents during operations. * Assisting crew members and maintaining constant communication with the maintenance supervisor. **What do we need from you?** * Ability to use manual tools. * Knowledge in carpentry, welding, or related specialization is valued. * Education: Primary school. * No prior experience required. * Availability to work outdoors, under high physical demands, and on rotating shifts: 6:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 22:00–6:00\. * Work location: La Peñita Toll Plaza to Las Varas Highway Toll Booth \- Pto.
