Operate and monitor washing, dry-cleaning, and drying equipment according to company standards. Apply appropriate treatment to stained items based on fabric type and stain type. Maintain accurate records of laundered items, number of loads, and weight in pounds of laundry and dry cleaning. Transport cart of laundered items to dryers and load them according to load size. Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry-cleaning machine filters and clean after each load. Monitor chemical container levels to ensure proper dispensing and notify supervisor or manager of any potential pump issues. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support fellow workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or during the entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above shoulder and below knee level, including stooping, twisting at the waist, pulling, and bending. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Ascend and descend service stairs and/or ramps.
