Report to the manager any products that do not meet specifications. Check and ensure that appliance and food temperatures are correct. Monitor the quantity of food prepared and portions served. Ensure portion sizes, food presentation, and garnishing are appropriate. Serve food in proper portions and containers. Set up, clean, and break down workstations. Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Prepare and cook food. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak clearly and professionally with others. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach above shoulder and below knee levels, including bending, twisting, turning, and crouching. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
