Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying equipment according to company standards. Apply appropriate treatment to stained items based on fabric type and stain. Maintain accurate records of laundered items, number of loads, and weight in pounds of laundry and dry cleaning. Transport cart of washed items to dryers and load them according to load size. Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry-cleaning machine filters and dispose after each load. Monitor chemical tank levels to ensure proper dispensing and notify supervisor or manager of any potential pump issues. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support fellow workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above shoulder and below knee level, including bending, twisting waist, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Ascend and descend service stairs and/or ramps.
