Identify stained or damaged items and determine their condition in order to treat stains, rewash, or discard them. Inspect cleanliness of items removed from washers, dryers, or dry cleaning machines and place them onto clean linen carts. Set dryer time and temperature according to fabric types included in the load. Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry cleaning machine filters and empty after each load. Fold clean items to designated size, either manually or by using a folding machine. Maintain accurate records of washed and ironed items. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or during the entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Navigate sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Climb up and down service stairs and/or ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.
