An electrical sector company is seeking a **Junior Electrical Engineer** to join its industrial electrical projects team, participating in design, analysis, technical documentation, and field support activities, in compliance with national and international standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Gathering and organizing electrical information (single-line diagrams, panels, protection devices, equipment nameplates, and loads). * Creating and updating electrical diagrams and drawings in **AutoCAD**. * Supporting the design and development of electrical circuits and control systems. * Participating in **short-circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash** studies (modeling, data collection, and reporting). * Supporting **power quality** analysis (downloading measurements, trend analysis, harmonics, and conclusions). * Conducting tests, diagnostics, and analysis of electrical equipment. * Preparing **technical reports** (Word, Excel, PDF) with photographic evidence. * Technical research on standards, technical datasheets, and manufacturer manuals. * Providing technical support for troubleshooting electrical failures. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the integration of electrical systems. * Participating in on-site projects, adhering to **electrical safety** guidelines. * Participating in training and continuous improvement processes. **Minimum Requirements** * **Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field** (graduated or advanced intern). * **1–2 years** of experience in industrial electrical systems (preferred). * Basic knowledge of: * Industrial electrical systems (panels, transformers, protection devices, motors, VFDs). * Electrical regulations (**NOM\-001\-SEDE**, applicable regulations). * Intermediate proficiency in: * **AutoCAD** * **Microsoft Excel and Word** * Ability to document technical information accurately and with attention to detail. * **Valid driver’s license** and standard driving skills. * **Willingness and availability to travel and work on-site.** * **Mandatory English proficiency of at least 70%, verifiable.** * **Valid U.S. travel visa (mandatory).** **Desirable Knowledge (Plus)** * NOM\-001\-SEDE and familiarity with the **NEC**. * Basic knowledge of **NFPA 70E** and electrical safety. * Familiarity with electrical study software (**SKM, ETAP, EasyPower**, or similar). * Knowledge of **IEEE 519**. * Proficiency in using electrical measurement tools. * Basic knowledge of **Python and artificial intelligence**. * Experience with cloud-based platforms. * MS Project. **Competencies** * Analytical thinking and technical problem-solving. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Organization and documentation tracking. * Accountability and adherence to deadlines. * Professional ethics, confidentiality, and quality focus. * Proactivity and willingness to learn. **Working Hours** * **8 hours per day** * **1 hour for lunch** * Availability for **on-site work and travel**. **Employment Type** * **Initial 30-day contract** * **Potential for permanent employment**, subject to performance and results. * Evaluation period during the initial contract.
