A leading automotive company, located in San Luis Potosí, is seeking: **IT Engineer \- Senior Programmer \& Software Development Experience in Automotive Company\*** **\*Only candidates demonstrating experience in the following areas will be considered:** ***software development using languages such as Python, PHP, C\#, Java, SQL, and Visual Basic; relational database management including Access, SQL Server, and Oracle; application integration via web APIs such as REST, SOAP, or GraphQL; project management methodologies including PMP (Project Management Professional) and Scrum; support and development projects related to supply chain.*** **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for integrating plant applications and devices into servers, as well as connecting external vendor machines * Analyze and provide support for existing IT requirements, architectures, and solutions to ensure continuity, operational efficiency, and proper system functionality * Maintain and monitor existing computer systems to optimize processes and ensure operational continuity * Automate and improve workflows to optimize operations and enable efficient integration of existing applications * Apply and maintain innovative technologies in existing applications to enhance operational efficiency and ensure service continuity **Requirements** * **Advanced English (mandatory requirement due to multicultural work environment).** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or related fields * 4–8 years of relevant experience in an automotive company (ideal) **Knowledge:** * Problem analysis and resolution in software development * Validation of new software, including knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, and other testing methods * Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) for incident, problem, and change management * Knowledge of virtual and physical server environments, as well as local and external network environments * Understanding of vulnerability analysis for secure application development.
