Job Summary: Ensure the availability and reliability of facilities and equipment by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, thereby guaranteeing operational efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the availability and reliability of facilities and equipment. 2. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. 3. Contribute to operational efficiency and workplace safety. GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE * Facility and Equipment Availability and Reliability: Ensure that facilities, buildings, equipment, service systems, as well as elevators and machinery—including their associated systems—are available and functioning properly to meet operational and customer demands, prevent unexpected failures, and provide a safe and comfortable working environment. * Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Execute planned maintenance operations to detect and address wear and potential issues at an early stage, reducing the likelihood of major breakdowns. * Corrective Maintenance and Problem Resolution: Diagnose root causes of failures or problems when they occur and efficiently perform necessary repairs to restore normal operation as soon as possible. * Operational Efficiency: Contribute to overall operational efficiency by optimizing the performance of elevators, infrastructure, and all assets, while controlling maintenance-related costs to achieve a balance between expenses and production revenue. * Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to and promote industrial safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a safe working environment. * Resource Management: Collaborate in planning and controlling materials, tools, and spare parts, maintaining order and cleanliness in work and storage areas. * Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports on workloads, incidents, repairs performed, and maintenance outcomes for timely tracking and awareness by supervisors and area leaders. * Collaboration and Communication: Respond to internal user requests, provide guidance on material or machinery usage when necessary, and collaborate with team members and external vendors. General knowledge of building maintenance. Knowledge of masonry. Knowledge of residential and industrial plumbing. General knowledge of blacksmithing. Knowledge and skill in electric arc welding (MIG, TIG, spot welding) and oxy-acetylene welding. Knowledge of pneumatics. Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electricity. Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Comprehensive knowledge of automotive painting and detailing. Extensive experience in automotive mechanics; familiarity with gas- and gasoline-powered forklifts is desirable. Familiarity with maintenance of electric forklifts is desirable. Tool handling. Preparation of reports and logs.
