General Job Description: Under general supervision, performs the following activities: * Performs package delivery and pickup efficiently and safely. * Inspects packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of contents—including weight and size—appropriate packaging, insured values, and special requirements for hazardous materials shipments. * Prepares related documentation for package pickup and delivery accurately and meticulously, such as air waybills, delivery records, vehicle status reports, etc. * Seeks additional business from existing customers; if unsuccessful, refers them to the sales manager. * Informs station operations, management, and sales teams about changes in customer handling and/or competitor activity. * Safely loads and unloads company aircraft and vehicles. * Conducts package and box dimension and weight sampling and audits. * Ensures use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx security policies, procedures, standards, rules, and practices. * Operates company vehicles safely and performs basic maintenance (cleaning, washing, tire pressure checks, etc.) Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * Completed secondary education. * Basic English preferred. Minimum Experience: * Preferred experience in ramp operations and warehouse equipment handling. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 32 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
