A Day in the Life As an Automation Engineer at our San Luis Potosí plant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the Engineering Leader, your mission will be to manage and optimize control systems to keep our production lines at the forefront—guaranteeing maximum reliability and efficiency. * Management & Strategy: You’ll be responsible for managing equipment program backups, preventing extended downtime, and ensuring business continuity. * Innovation & Continuous Improvement: You’ll lead equipment migration projects to reduce obsolescence. You’ll implement machine improvements that increase reliability and eliminate safety and quality risks. * Problem Solving: You’ll identify and resolve critical issues related to programming and electronics, maintaining production line efficiency and performance. * Team Development: You’ll train the technical team by creating documentation, instructions, and procedures to strengthen their automation skills and knowledge. We’re Looking For You We seek someone with strong analytical ability and a proactive approach to problem solving. You’re the ideal candidate if technical challenges motivate you and you enjoy working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. * You hold a degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field. * You have proven experience in industrial machinery control and automated processes. * You possess solid expertise in automation, control systems, and engineering project management. * You have intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency enabling effective communication. * Your key competencies include: Learning agility, Collaboration, Quality focus, Problem solving, and Analytical thinking.
