We are seeking a talented **Financial Analyst (Project Administrator)** to join our team, specializing in **Finance**, for our NEW RECON PARTS BUSINESS, located in San Luis Potosí, Mexico (Eje 122 200, Zona Industrial, 78090 San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.). Hybrid role: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. **Position Summary:** Applies business process development and project management skills within a technical or business specialty area. Manages small, well-defined portions of projects. Provides administrative and logistical support to a project team and project manager. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** * Perform financial analysis for multiple projects at the New Recon Parts plant, including Capital and Cummins methodologies: Value Product Introduction (VPI), New Business Start Up (NBS), Six Sigma, Team Based Work Systems (Team Phased and Value Package Change Request – launching new product versions). * Prepare and present project financial information for VPI and NBS to leadership. * Control and monitor capital and expense budgets, as well as approved spending aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). * Review and approve engineering documents for project-driven configurations. * Create and track customer association records. * Prepare INEGI surveys, including: * Monthly Business Opinion Survey (EMOE) * Monthly Manufacturing Industry Survey (EMIM) * Prepare regulatory questionnaires for Banco de México. * Administer and monitor account reconciliations within Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM). * Manage administration, creation, updates, and termination of rented teams, vehicles, and warehouses (responsible for leasing process). * Prepare financial information and materials for internal employee communications at NRP. * Support month-end closing activities related to capital expenditures (CAPEX) and leases. **To be successful in this role, you will need the following:** * More than 5 years of experience as a Cost Analyst. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English proficiency. * Strong financial analysis skills. * Attention to detail and data accuracy. * Ability to manage multiple priorities. * Project management and communication skills. **Desired Skills:** * Experience in project management. * Experience in maquila arrangements. **Competencies:** * Effective communication * Customer focus * Managing complexity * Conflict management * Planning and alignment * Ingenuity and resourcefulness * Project problem and risk management * Project resource management * Project schedule management * Project scope management * Valuing differences **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance (Costs). **Job** Finance **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** On-site with Flexibility **Job Type** Exempt - Entry Level **ReqID** 2428386 **Relocation Package** Yes **100% On-site** No
