Create and maintain filing systems. File and maintain documentation and records of applicant interviews. File, track, and process job applications. Create and type office correspondence using a computer. Audit and coordinate the distribution of payroll checks. Inform all candidates who receive a job offer about the required documentation they must bring on their first day of employment to complete I\-9 employment verification forms. Create a personnel file for the new employee. Design and update the presentation and content of employee communication bulletin boards (e.g., regarding employment, recruitment, transfers, and promotions). Post all necessary regulatory and legal notices related to Human Resources where all employees can see them as stipulated by law. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Assist other employees to ensure adequate coverage and promote customer service. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using proper protocols. Enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education:High school diploma or equivalent certification from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
