Technical and professional growth opportunities We are looking for a **Lathe Operator** with proven experience operating lathes to perform machining and fabrication of components related to the repair and maintenance of industrial electric motors. This position is strategic within the electric motor rebuilding process, as the lathe operator is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and finishing key components with precision according to technical specifications and drawings. The selected candidate will report directly to the workshop supervisor and collaborate closely with the technical team. **Key Responsibilities** * Set up, adjust, and operate **conventional and/or CNC lathes** to machine metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications. * Read and interpret mechanical drawings and required dimensions for parts. * Select appropriate cutting tools and parameters for each operation. * Monitor dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers). * Perform basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and machine adjustments to ensure accuracy and safety. * Inspect quality of turned parts and make adjustments or corrections as necessary. * Comply with industrial safety policies and maintain a clean and orderly workplace. * Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality of mechanical components. **Requirements** * Proven experience as a lathe operator in a mechanical or industrial workshop (mandatory). * Ability to operate **manual and/or CNC lathes**, as required by the workshop. * Solid knowledge of mechanical drawing interpretation and part fitting. * Proficiency in using measuring tools and quality control instruments (micrometers, calipers). * Capacity to work with precision and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. * Availability for on-site work and compliance with safety regulations. **Benefits** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Technical and professional growth opportunities. * Continuous training in repair and machining processes. * Stable and professional work environment. * Overtime opportunities and specialized training.
