**General Accountant** **About the Position:** **Company:** Tecnologías Integradas Industriales Siderúrgicas S.A. de C.V., located in San Luis Potosí, S.L.P. Are you seeking a professional challenge where your accounting leadership is critical to decision-making? At Tecnologías Integradas Industriales Siderúrgicas, we are looking for an analytical and organized General Accountant to ensure accurate recording, control, and analysis of our accounting and financial operations, guaranteeing strict tax compliance for the company. **What will be your main responsibilities?** * **General Accounting:** Recording journal entries (revenues, expenses, daily entries), bank reconciliations, and updating electronic accounting records. * **Tax Management:** Calculating and filing monthly and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes), preparing the DIOT, and complying with SAT requirements. * **Finance:** Preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), conducting financial analysis, and delivering direct reports to management. * **Administration:** Managing payments, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, inventory control, and reviewing payroll/labor obligations (IMSS, Infonavit, salary income tax). * **Internal Communication:** Providing weekly reports to the General Manager on accounting progress, tax status, and financial reports. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Preferred). * **Experience:** 2–5 years in a similar role. * **Systems:** Proficiency in accounting software (CONTPAQi, COI, Aspel, etc.) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. * **Technical Knowledge:** \* Up-to-date Mexican tax legislation (Income Tax Law, VAT Law, Tax Code). * Financial Information Standards (NIF). * Electronic invoicing. **Key Skills:** * Attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, confidentiality, sense of urgency, and effective communication.
