Outokumpu, a global leader in stainless steel production, is seeking a **University Procurement Intern** to join our team. * **6-month internship contract.** * **You must hold a valid student insurance policy to apply.** **Primary Job Objective:** Join the GBS Procurement team and gain practical experience supporting procurement operations for the Americas region. As a GBS Procurement Intern, you will contribute to ensuring visibility, tracking, and proper execution of procurement activities while developing skills in supply chain, supplier coordination, and data analysis within a global environment. This role is designed for highly motivated students with a strong sense of responsibility and a desire to build a career in Financial Services, Procurement, or Supply Chain. **Requirements and Competencies:** * University student majoring in Administration, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. * In final years of studies. * Intermediate English level B2 (reading, writing, and speaking). * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). * Analytical skills and data handling ability. * Knowledge of SAP and/or JDE is a plus. **Core Competencies and Skills:** * Organization and attention to detail * Proactivity and willingness to learn * Ability to manage multiple tasks * Teamwork and collaboration **Key Responsibilities:** * Track open and overdue purchase orders, ensuring timely updates with suppliers. * Maintain and update procurement trackers, ensuring data accuracy and visibility. * Support preparation and organization of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and their responses. * Contact suppliers to confirm order status, delivery dates, and pending items. * Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders for audit and control purposes. * Support data validation, cleansing, and standardization activities. * Create and update operational reports in Excel and/or Power BI. * Collaborate with the team and other departments to support daily activities. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation. **Salary: 8,000 pesos per month.**
