Job Summary: Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities to ensure the availability, safety, and reliability of the transportation fleet while optimizing costs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of preventive and corrective maintenance for the fleet. 2. Administration and control of the maintenance history of the vehicles. 3. Ensuring regulatory compliance and road safety for the fleet. Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the employee transportation fleet, ensuring the **availability, safety, and reliability of the vehicles**, optimizing maintenance costs, and complying with current regulations. **Maintenance Management** * Design and implement the **fleet's preventive and corrective maintenance program**. * Ensure the **operational availability of the vehicles**. * Supervise mechanical, electrical, and bodywork repairs. * Implement maintenance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, fleet availability). **Fleet Administration** * Maintain the maintenance history record for each vehicle. * Schedule services based on mileage or time intervals. * Manage technical downtime and release vehicles for operation. **Spare Parts Management** * Control inventory of spare parts and consumables. * Negotiate with spare parts suppliers and external service providers. * Authorize purchases related to maintenance. **Personnel Management** * Coordinate and supervise the team of mechanics and technicians. * Assign workloads and evaluate performance. * Train staff on technical procedures and safety protocols. **Cost Control** * Develop and manage the maintenance budget. * Analyze costs per vehicle or per kilometer. * Implement cost-reduction strategies. **Safety and Compliance** * Ensure vehicles comply with **transportation and road safety regulations**. * Coordinate physical-mechanical inspections. * Implement workshop safety protocols. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Fleet availability * Maintenance cost per km * Preventive maintenance compliance rate * Average repair time * Percentage of in-transit failures * Spare parts turnover rate Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Major medical expense insurance * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
