Professional development opportunities An international Canadian-based company specializing in the manufacturing of dry-type transformers, located in Guadalupe, N.L., is seeking for its Plant 2: **Manufacturing Engineer.** **Objective:** * Provide the necessary methods and tooling to ensure product manufacturing in compliance with the company's established standards for quality, delivery time, efficiency, cost reduction, and safety—always pursuing continuous improvement. **Responsibilities:** * Establish and control product production and assembly standards; includes systematically reviewing operational information and reports to identify opportunities to improve safety, delivery times, quality, efficiency, and reduce costs. * Conduct technical studies to optimize product characteristics and specifications. * Establish and/or modify processes for continuous improvement. * Certify and/or revise manufacturing documents (MIP). **Requirements:** * 3–5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably in the electric transformer industry. \*Mandatory. * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. \*Mandatory. * Intermediate English (spoken and written). \*Mandatory. * Problem analysis and resolution. * Microsoft Office suite. * Time and motion analysis. * Analysis and development of layouts or floor plans. * Design of templates or poka-yokes. * Interpretation of bill of materials and manufacturing routings. * Lean manufacturing techniques. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Excellent benefits package. * Development opportunities. * Outstanding work environment.
