Position Summary: We are seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in the design, adaptation, and preparation of graphic materials for printing, ensuring quality and consistency with client specifications. Creativity and ability to adapt to different design styles GRAPHIC DESIGNER Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM / Saturday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM Age: 23 years and older BOTH GENDERS Minimum 1 year of experience in this role within the printing industry. Responsibilities: Assist in designing and adapting graphic materials for printing, such as brochures, business cards, posters, catalogs, packaging, and others. Prepare graphic files for production, ensuring they meet technical printing requirements (e.g., resolution, bleed, color profiles, etc.). Perform file adjustments and corrections according to instructions from the lead graphic designer and the printing house’s quality standards. Ensure colors, typography, and graphic elements comply with client or project specifications. Collaborate with the prepress department to ensure graphic files are compatible with the printing equipment used by the printing house. Verify that graphic materials meet established quality standards before sending them to production, performing detailed reviews and color proofs. Organize and manage digital design files, ensuring they are properly archived and labeled for easy access during production. Collaborate in creating reusable templates and graphic resources to streamline future project production. Participate in reviewing printed proofs to ensure correct design and color accuracy prior to mass production. Maintain constant communication with the production team to coordinate design timelines and details based on delivery deadlines. Desired Skills: Knowledge of prepress and technical printing processes. Familiarity with preparing files for various printing methods and materials. Creativity and ability to adapt to different design styles according to each client’s or project’s needs. Organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Significant experience and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and CTP (Computer-to-Plate) prepress systems.
