At **ASPECTOBIM Y ASOCIADOS**, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the design and calculation of hydrosanitary, stormwater, irrigation, condensate drainage, and fire protection systems (FPS), for the development of medium- and large-scale projects in the AEC sector, using BIM methodology. **Essential Requirements** • Mechanical Engineer with degree and professional license (mandatory). • Must reside in Monterrey (N.L.) or Mexico City (CDMX). • Minimum age: 30 years. • Proven experience in the design and calculation of: o Hydrosanitary and stormwater systems. o Hydraulic and sanitary piping networks. o Irrigation systems. o Condensate drainage systems. o Fire protection systems (sprinklers, fire cabinets, hydrants, fire pumps). • Proficiency in current Mexican regulations (NOMs, local codes and ordinances). • Solid knowledge of NFPA standards (13, 14, 20, 22, 24, 25, 72, and other applicable standards). **Technical Scope of the Position** • Comprehensive design of: o Hydrosanitary, stormwater, irrigation, and FPS networks. o Pump rooms and mechanical rooms. o Cisterns, sumps, and storage systems. • Selection and sizing of equipment: o Pumps (potable water, stormwater, irrigation, and FPS). o Pressure-boosting systems. o Valves, fittings, and specialized devices. • Preparation and review of: o Calculation reports. o Technical data sheets. o Technical specifications. • Knowledge of and familiarity with national suppliers, brands, and solutions available in Mexico. **Required Software** • Specialized hydraulic and FPS calculation software, such as: o EPANET. o WaterCAD / WaterGEMS. o Pipe Flow Expert. o HASS / HydraCALC. o Elite Fire / Elite Hydraulic Calculator. o SprinkCAD (or equivalent). • AutoCAD. • Revit MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing). • Proven experience with BIM methodology: o Modeling and interdisciplinary coordination. o Development of LOD 300–400. o Compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM standards. **Project Experience** • High-rise buildings and multi-family residential developments. • Mixed-use developments. • Hospitality projects. • Industrial facilities. • Infrastructure projects. • Shopping centers and sports complexes. **Responsibilities** • Design, modeling, and calculation of hydraulic and fire protection systems. • Development of BIM models and construction drawings. • Technical coordination with architecture, structural engineering, and other MEP disciplines. • Regulatory review and technical support during project and construction phases. **Application Process** Please submit: • Updated CV to rh@aspectobim.com • Portfolio of past projects (project type, scope, responsibilities, and software used).
