Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and proactive Laser/Plasma Cutting Operator to operate CNC machinery, ensuring high-quality part fabrication according to drawings and specifications. Handle materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. **FAINSA is seeking an Operator at Parque 300 \- Santa Catarina, Nuevo León** --------------------------------------------------------------------- We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and quality-focused Laser/Plasma Cutting Operator to join our team and ensure proper operation of cutting equipment and compliance with production standards. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser and/or plasma cutting machinery, ensuring parts are fabricated in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and work orders. Key responsibilities include equipment preparation, material loading/unloading, and configuring cutting parameters—such as speed, power, gas type, and pressure—based on material type and thickness. Additionally, the operator must verify that cutting programs are correctly loaded and executed, ensuring precision and quality for each part. The operator is responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and cutting files, as well as conducting basic visual and dimensional inspections to ensure parts meet specified requirements. They must also identify potential process deviations—such as burrs, deformations, or incomplete cuts—and make necessary adjustments or report anomalies to the relevant department. Furthermore, the operator must properly handle materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, as well as correctly use measuring tools and instruments. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area is essential, and the operator must consistently comply with industrial safety regulations—particularly when handling high-temperature equipment and gases. We seek candidates with experience operating CNC laser and/or plasma cutting machines, basic knowledge of reading engineering drawings, and familiarity with cutting software.
