Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced kitchen supervisor to oversee daily operations, coordinate the team, ensure food quality, and maintain hygiene standards in a fine pastry restaurant. Development of new gastronomic proposals **Duties and Responsibilities:** Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring dishes are prepared correctly according to recipes and standards established by Mille Délices. Coordinate the kitchen team, assign tasks, and verify adherence to service timing. Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products, checking freshness, flavor, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper sanitary conditions across all kitchen areas per NOM-251-SSA1. Manage inventory, request supplies, and track requisitions in coordination with warehouse and procurement. Ensure rational use of resources, minimizing waste and controlling shrinkage. Train and motivate kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and mutual respect. Ensure preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils. Support the development of new dishes and gastronomic proposals aligned with the restaurant’s concept. Comply with internal policies regarding quality, hygiene, and occupational safety. **Position Profile:** Education: Technical degree in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role within the restaurant or fine pastry industry. **Knowledge Requirements:** Food production processes and handling. Inventory and cost control. Cooking, preparation, and plating techniques. Current sanitary regulations.
