Job Summary: This position seeks an individual to ensure raw material availability, optimize inventories, and minimize costs across the supply chain. Key Highlights: 1. Manages raw material availability for mass production. 2. Manages safety inventory and coordinates transportation. 3. Conducts supplier audits and evaluations. **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Ensure raw material availability to meet the production plan on time, maintaining appropriate min\-max inventory levels, minimizing transportation costs, and avoiding overstock and obsolescence. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure plant raw material requirements for mass production (already released in SOP) according to lead time. * Ensure international raw material requirements at the plant for new projects per provided specifications (from existing suppliers). * Monitor raw material delivery until receipt into warehouse. * Issue purchase orders (POs) and forecasts to suppliers, preceded by requirement calculations. * Manage established safety inventory, maintaining optimal levels (avoid overstock or air shipments). * Request transportation for raw materials and establish routes per requirements (where applicable to suppliers). * Conduct supplier audits (supply chain), acting as second-party auditors. * Coordinate with suppliers on corrective actions to prevent customer stockouts and avoid production line downtime. * Implement corrective actions arising from audits and assigned projects in the MAC system. * Report raw material break points for engineering changes. * Ensure return of reusable raw material packaging to suppliers. * Accurately enter PO data into Syteline and supplier portal systems monthly and on time. * Manage the supplier portal. * Conduct monthly supplier evaluations. * Host supplier visits or conduct visits to suppliers.
