Quality assurance and standards Forklift Operator **Job Summary** Location: Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico Company: Nestlé Purina \| Puerto Interior Distribution Centers Full-time: Availability for rotating shifts and breaks. Education: Completed secondary school Minimum experience: 1 year and possession of DC3 license or equivalent driver's license **A Day in the Life of...** 1\.\- Operate, store, and inspect finished products throughout all warehouse processes (unloading, storage, order picking, loading), in accordance with NPPC quality standards, to ensure absence of broken, torn, wet, stained, and/or infested items. 2\.\- Accurately complete all established forms for each process to provide documentary support for all activities performed. 3\.\- Pick requested quantities according to established procedures and standards to prevent failure to meet customer requirements. 4\.\- Load prepared orders onto transport units with correct quantity and quality for release and timely delivery to customers. 5\.\- Participate in physical inventory counting processes—including periodic and cycle counts—to ensure inventory reliability and guarantee availability of finished products. 6\.\- Comply with the SHE management system policy and objectives. Identify and assess risks and opportunities associated with changes in processes or the SHE management system. Identify environmental aspects, as well as hazards and risks related to activities under normal, abnormal, and reasonably foreseeable emergency conditions that can be controlled or influenced. Participate in SHE management system training. Implement operational controls to minimize environmental aspects and impacts, as well as hazards and risks. Establish, implement, and maintain necessary processes to prepare for and respond to potential emergency situations. 7\.\- Perform routine warehouse operations including palletizing prepared orders, product labeling, reconditioning, emptying, cleaning, segregation of finished products, non-conforming products (factory defects, breakage, infestation, etc.), raw materials, packaging, and repositioning across various warehouse processes (receiving, internal movement, order picking), while maintaining order and cleanliness at all times. **What Will Make You Successful** 1\.\- Basic knowledge of warehouse processes (receiving, order picking, and shipping). 2\.\- Basic knowledge of good warehousing practices. 3\.\- Extensive knowledge of forklift operation. 4\.\- Basic knowledge of push-pull attachment operation. 5\.\- Possession of DC3 license. 6\.\- Proven 2-year experience operating forklifts. 7\.\- Availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, with one rotating day off.
