**Industrial and Construction Site Safety Coordinator** **Location:** Silao, Guanajuato **Salary:** $25,000 – $35,000 MXN net monthly (depending on experience) **Job Type:** Full-time \| Temporary or project-based **Job Description** We are seeking a **Safety Coordinator** to lead comprehensive safety and health management in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating safety supervisors, establishing preventive strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining up-to-date training records (DC\-3, DC\-5) for personnel. **Responsibilities** * Lead and coordinate the site safety supervisor team. * Ensure compliance with **NOM\-STPS** regulations and corporate safety policies. * Manage and validate safety documentation (DC\-3, DC\-5, attendance lists, evaluations, and photographic evidence). * Plan and implement staff training and development programs (PROCADIST and specialized courses). * Analyze potential risks and develop preventive and corrective action plans. * Coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance reports. * Report safety performance indicators, incidents, and improvement actions. * Supervise the use of PPE, work permits, and adherence to critical procedures. * Direct interaction with clients and authorities to ensure regulatory compliance. **Requirements** * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field. * Minimum of **4 to 6 years** of experience in construction site safety management. * Advanced knowledge of regulations: **NOM\-017, NOM\-019, NOM\-030, NOM\-031\-STPS** and **STPS** guidelines. * Proficiency in **DC\-3 and DC\-5** documentation (issuance, control, and validation). * Completion of safety training courses: * Working at heights * Hazardous energy * Confined spaces * Electrical safety and power tools * Cutting and welding * Forklifts and lifting equipment * Rigging and load securing * Hazardous materials * Defensive driving * Leadership skills, risk analysis, and fieldwork capability. * Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **We Offer** * Competitive salary: **$25,000 – $35,000 MXN net monthly based on experience.** * Statutory benefits. * Travel allowances and camp accommodations. * Company phone.
