




Position Summary: The Sterilization and Environmental Control Technician ensures release of sterilized product and compliance with environmental requirements in cleanrooms, maintaining the Quality System. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensures compliance with environmental control and quality requirements. 2. Controls certification of sterile products and related documentation. 3. Supports the development of documentation to maintain ISO 13485 and QMS. Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe. * The Sterilization and Environmental Control Technician performs internal activities for the release of sterilized product and compliance with environmental control requirements in cleanrooms, consistently ensuring the * Quality System requirements described in procedures, standards, and specifications. * Final control and certification of sterile products manufactured at this facility to comply with ISO 13485 Quality System, FDA/QSR, as well as local and corporate requirements. * Controls processing and archiving of sterilization records. * Issues sterilization release reports. * Maintains control over shipment of samples requiring processing at sterilization centers. * Requests necessary samples for submission to testing laboratories, as well as for execution of sterilization validations and revalidations. * Controls final validation and revalidation reports for sterilization within the Quality System. * Maintains up-to-date documentation applicable to sterilization release processes. * Assists in reviewing and developing documentation required to maintain compliance with ISO 13485 and QMS. * Assists in compiling and reporting Quality data, as well as evaluating trends. * Reviews current Quality System procedures to simplify, consolidate, and obsolete them. * Reports to management any issues requiring product "hold", nonconforming product or materials, or nonconforming activities or processes for immediate corrective and preventive action. * Executes environmental monitoring programs per Jabil’s Quality System frequency and requirements. * Supports, performs, and/or coordinates any other job-related activities requested by the immediate supervisor based on business needs. * Collects, organizes, structures, and documents material and regulatory information in an understandable and useful manner. * Supports all programs and initiatives related to the Code of Ethics, Jabil Healthcare Values, and sustainability programs. * Supports all company Safety, Hygiene, and Quality programs. Understands and applies the Quality Policy. * Completes all training requirements per the Training Matrix, Quality Management System, and Training Needs Assessment, and attends all training sessions when participation is required. * Teamwork: Collaborates jointly with Production Cells, Process Quality Assurance, and Human Resources/Training Departments to develop a strong internal team system that supports preventive and corrective actions of the Quality System. * Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed, depending on company evolution and departmental/position requirements. * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, or within a team environment. * High degree of cultural sensitivity due to the multinational composition of the workforce. * Proactive problem-solving skills. * Broad knowledge of how to develop biological load control and quality audit of dose process in * manufacturing. * Written and oral communication skills.
