**VACANCY: Laser Cutting Machine Operator** **Area:** Production / Machining **Position:** Laser Cutting Operator **Modality:** On-site **Job Description** At Ingeniería Jacuar, we are seeking a responsible and committed **Laser Cutting Machine Operator**, tasked with the safe and efficient operation of laser cutting equipment, ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to production timelines according to project requirements. **Responsibilities** * Operate **laser cutting machines** for processing sheet metal and metal profiles. * Interpret **engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and production orders**. * Program and adjust basic cutting parameters (power, speed, gas, focus). * Verify dimensions, cut quality, and finishes against specifications. * Perform material changes and machine setup according to assigned tasks. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace (5S). * Promptly report machine malfunctions, anomalies, or quality deviations. * Conduct basic preventive maintenance on equipment (cleaning, inspections). * Comply with safety regulations, use of PPE, and internal procedures. **Requirements** * Minimum education: **Secondary school or technical high school diploma** (technical degree preferred). * Minimum experience: **2\* years\* as a laser cutting machine operator (preferred)**. * Knowledge of: * Operation of laser machines (fiber or CO₂). * Metallic materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.). * Basic blueprint reading. * Measuring instruments (vernier caliper, tape measure, square). * Ability to follow instructions and work with precision. * Responsible, orderly, and quality-oriented attitude. **Competencies** * Attention to detail. * Discipline and safety focus. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and commitment. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. **We Offer** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Statutory benefits. * Continuous training. * Job stability.
