Job Summary*To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.**This role involves* *being responsible for implementing and maintaining cost\-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.* What a typical day looks like:* *Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.* * *Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.* * *Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.* * *Evaluates and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.* * *Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.* * *Resolves test yield problems by performing evaluation of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.* * *Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.* * *Create and maintain process documentation.* * *Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.* * *Defines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.* The experience we’re looking to add to our team:* *Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related.* * *High technical English level: Able to communicate in English with customers and suppliers to describe technical topics.* * *Strong experience providing technical support to In\-circuit test platform HP3070 updating test programs, troubleshooting hardware and software issues (fixtures and* *testhead).* * *Strong experience providing technical support to functional test stations for electronic assemblies at PCBA and box level.* * *At least 6 years of experience in similar position in a manufacturing environment.* * *Experience and knowledge troubleshooting failures on electrical test equipment and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) using electrical diagrams and test instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.* * *Experience coordinating the fabrication or upgrade of test equipment with external suppliers.* * *knowledge and experience using programming languages such as Python or Labview.* * *Experience coordinating and training technical support personnel.* * *Experience using statistical tools to evaluate test metrics such as yield, Cpk, downtime and Gauge R\&R.* * *Experience implementing action plan to minimize equipment downtime and false failures on test equipment.* What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:* Competitive Salary. * Life \& Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
