Job Summary: We are seeking a packer for a food plant, responsible for packing tostadas and tortillas, operating sealing machines, and ensuring product and area quality and hygiene. Key Points: 1. Heat resistance **Functions and Responsibilities** * Pack tostadas and wheat flour tortillas according to weight and quantity specifications. * Operate and assist in the use of sealing and packaging machines. * Verify that packages are properly sealed and free of air leaks. * Apply labels, expiration dates, and batch codes per procedure. * Conduct visual inspection of products prior to packaging (e.g., broken, undercooked, or defective items). * Maintain cleanliness and order in the packaging area and equipment. * Report machinery, sealing, or packaging malfunctions to the supervisor. * Assist with counting and organizing finished products. * Assemble boxes **Requirements** * Minimum education: elementary or junior high school. * Experience: desirable in food packaging * Agility and manual dexterity * Heat resistance **Working Conditions** * Packaging area inside a food plant. * Standing work and repetitive motions. * Mandatory use of hairnets, gloves, face masks, and uniforms.
