




Position Summary: Supervise the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through correct operational processes and excellent service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive inventory management and operational tasks Supervise overall operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, create an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities by setting an example and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and testing/diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable consumables within the team. * Assign and monitor tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria upkeep, sales floor maintenance, parking lot care—as well as daily cash count verification for the main register, cash sweeps, and register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisory experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
