SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Supports store floor operations, including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborates in meeting operational and commercial indicators 2. Arranges merchandise and implements planograms 3. Provides excellent customer service and support Provides support for in-store operational activities by executing relevant operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, ensuring proper compliance to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Deliver customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing to provide excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions using cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
