Position Summary: We are seeking an engineer with experience in plastic injection processes for new product launch, process validation, and continuous improvement, ensuring quality and operational efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in plastic injection and the automotive sector. 2. New product launch and process validation. 3. Proficiency in Core Tools and continuous improvement. Requirements: * Industrial, chemical, or related engineering degree * Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within plastic injection processes; experience in the automotive sector is preferred. * Availability for shift work, if required Knowledge and experience in: * New product launch and process validation on injection molding machines * Identification of shop-floor defects such as flash, short shots, burns, bubbles, etc. * Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan) * Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications * Mold balancing and production startup * Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools * Robot programming (Fanuc), preferred Responsibilities: \* Perform model changeovers, machine startups, and any necessary adjustments with operator support. \* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring pre-startup activities and programming of injection molding machines for production. \* Complete startup, model changeover, and scrap logs to enable data capture and metric generation. \* Operate overhead cranes, adjust process parameters, perform model changeovers, and manage peripheral equipment. \* Detect and correct defects reported by operators while adhering to safety and quality standards. \* Conduct shift handover in advance, reporting any issues encountered during the shift or discussed in meetings; if applicable, provide status updates or repair progress for damaged molds. \* Randomly audit injection molding machine documentation for completeness; if incomplete, request assistance from the process engineer.
