




Job Summary: Responsible for supervising the implementation of the PSOO, supporting the CSO in operational safety and managing activities in the Airport’s Airside Operations Area. Leadership and critical thinking to ensure goal achievement. **Job Description** ------------------------- Responsible for internal supervision and monitoring of PSOO implementation, acting as support to the CSO during work carried out in the Airport’s Airside Operations Area. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- Assist the CSO to ensure PSOO / DC-PSOO implementation, as applicable. * Assist the CSO in preparing the assessment of planned work and its location, considering possible impacts on airport operability. * Monitor daily mechanical conditions and signage of vehicles, equipment, and machinery prior to entry and during their presence in the AOA. * Support the CSO in analyzing any contractor activity—planned or emergent—for hazard identification purposes, and, if deemed necessary, NOTAM issuance. * Report to the CSO any unsafe condition affecting airport operations where operational safety is compromised. * Jointly attend, with the CSO, scheduled visits by the supervisory ASO. * Timely communicate to the CSO incidents arising during work execution in the area. * Promptly identify personal fatigue and that of any other site personnel, and timely report it to the designated CSO for immediate action. * Continuously supervise contractor activities and identify any interference they may cause with operations. * Mandatorily report all unsafe events and consequences observed or identified to the Airport’s Incident Notification System within no more than 24 hours following the event. * Mandatorily report all hazards identified—and not addressed by the contractor—to the Incident Notification System within 24 hours; at the latest, within 48 hours after identification. **Job Challenges** -------------------- Teamwork, planning activities according to the overall construction schedule, establishing clear and achievable daily goals, organizing the work team, and scheduling resources to ensure goal achievement. **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
