This role combines technical project leadership, architectural translation, and senior\-level code review to ensure high\-quality delivery and long\-term system performance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze and extract business logic from legacy .aspx and JavaScript codebases. * Translate legacy functionality into modern backend and frontend architectures. * Write detailed, technically precise scopes for development execution. * Conduct backend code reviews to ensure performance, scalability, and best practices. * Review frontend implementations (Angular preferred) for structure and maintainability. * Lead Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking. * Manage SDLC workflows using Jira or Azure DevOps. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with engineering and product stakeholders. * Improve sprint predictability, code quality, and modernization velocity. **Qualifications:** * 5\+ years of experience in technical project leadership or engineering management. * Strong experience with modern backend frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Node.js, Java Spring, or similar). * Experience reviewing backend code for performance and architectural soundness. * Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred; React acceptable). * Experience working with or interpreting legacy web\-based systems (e.g., WebForms or similar). * Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint management. * Proficiency with Jira or Azure DevOps. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Nice\-to\-Haves:** * Direct experience modernizing legacy .NET WebForms applications. * Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework or similar). * Angular Material experience. * Background as a Senior Software Engineer or Solutions Architect. * Experience working with US\-based teams in CST time zones. * Proven track record improving PR quality and reducing production defects.
