




**Job Objective:** Continuously maintain and improve our management system, and ensure that the personnel of the calibration laboratory align with and comply with what is described in the current manuals and/or procedures. Ensure that, during the calibration process, the service offered complies with internal standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, as well as specific customer requirements and those of the Mexican Accreditation Entity. **COMPETENCIES, REQUIREMENTS AND ABILITIES** **1. Academic Degree:** Bachelor’s degree candidate or graduate in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. **2. Experience:** a. 2 years in management system administration. b. 1 year handling and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standard. c. 1 year managing a calibration laboratory. d. 1 year conducting internal and/or external audit processes. **3. Requirements:** a. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standard. b. Evidence of training. **4. Knowledge:** a. Thorough understanding of current regulations (ISO/IEC 17025, criteria established by the Mexican Accreditation Entity). b. Quality Infrastructure Law. c. Tools for problem analysis and management. **5. Skills:** a. Effective oral and written communication. b. Leadership. c. Organization and planning. d. Statistical analysis. e. Conflict resolution. **6. Software Usage:** Microsoft Office. **7. Values:** Responsibility, Honesty, Teamwork, Tolerance, and Loyalty. **8. Language:** Basic English preferred. **9. Dress Code:** Casual attire. **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED** Knowledge or mastery of Microimport S.A. de C.V.’s quality management system, with focus on the current ISO/IEC 17025 standard, elementary statistics, management systems, accreditation body policies, and standardization authorities’ guidelines. Knowledge or mastery of general calibration processes. Knowledge or mastery of quality control and activity record-keeping. Theoretical and practical knowledge or mastery of assigned activities, equipment usage, etc. **Responsibilities:** Review, maintain, and update all documents related to the management system; authority to supervise implementation of quality management system activities by all personnel. \- Train all Microimport personnel on the quality assurance system, its scope, and modifications.
