Area: Production / Mechanical Maintenance Reports to: Workshop Manager Location: PFO Soleares Plant**.** **Position Objective:** * Manufacture, repair, and adjust mechanical parts using lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools, ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with technical drawings. * Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of industrial machinery by applying general mechanical knowledge. **Main Functions**: * Operate lathes, milling machines, drills, and other conventional machine tools. * Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications for part manufacturing. * Perform adjustments, cutting, threading, drilling, and polishing of metal components. * Measure and verify part dimensions using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc.). * Carry out mechanical repairs and adaptations on industrial machinery and equipment. * Assemble, disassemble, and align mechanical components. * Ensure proper preventive maintenance and cleaning of machine tools. * Comply with quality, safety, and workplace organization standards. * Support continuous improvement projects and the manufacturing of prototypes or special spare parts. **Requirements** Education: Technician in Machine Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. * Experience: Minimum 2 years as a lathe or milling machine operator (preferably with industrial maintenance experience). **Technical Knowledge**: * Operation of conventional lathe and milling machine * Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Metrology and geometric tolerances. * Machining of metallic and non-metallic parts. * Basic maintenance of industrial machinery. **Skills**: * Precision and attention to detail. * Ability to solve mechanical problems. * Responsibility and teamwork. * Good organization and discipline in tool usage.
