**ZAPATA ///** **Company with 69 years of experience in the automotive market, certified by "Great Place to Work".** **CAMIONES MANZANILLO** **We are seeking:** **DIESEL MECHANIC** **Mechanics with experience in FREIGHTLINER and MERCEDES BENZ brands preferred.** **Purpose: Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, or electronic problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure units operate efficiently and safely.** **Requirements:** * **Education:** Incomplete high school / Completed secondary school * **Location:** Must live near the area (no more than 40 minutes away) \-Essential Experience: Diesel engines - Buses\- electromechanical * **Specific knowledge:** Diesel mechanics. * **License:** Valid Class A license, preferred. * **Availability to travel:** YES. * **Schedule availability** **Skills / competencies:** * Communication. * Honesty. * Proactive. * Teamwork. **Main responsibilities:** * Experience in diesel combustion engine repairs. * Powertrain diagnostics. * Follow-up on control measures. * Assist in workshop cleaning and maintenance. * Engine calibration. * Knowledge and handling of pneumatic systems. (Suspension and brakes). * Attend to and follow up on assigned workshop repairs. * Request spare parts to carry out repairs. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, transmissions, and electrical\-electronic systems of the brand's units. * Experience and use of brand diagnostic tools.
