**Job Description:**
Position Summary
The Instrumentation Operator is responsible for the operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and calibration of control instruments and automation equipment at Vichisa, S.A. de C.V. facilities. They will ensure optimal system performance to guarantee efficiency and safety in processes.
Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor control instruments and automated systems to maintain process stability.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and instrumentation, including transmitters, control valves, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
* Interpret P\&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for fault diagnosis and repair.
* Carry out calibration of measurement instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level) in accordance with established standards and procedures.
* Document maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs performed.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and continuously improve processes.
* Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations across all operations.
* Participate in the implementation of new instrumentation equipment and systems.
Qualifications
* Technical education in Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial instrumentation operation and maintenance.
* Solid understanding of process control principles and control loops.
* Experience in calibrating measurement instruments and using calibration equipment.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (desirable).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
* Availability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies when required.
